DIY DESK – Supermoto racing fans in Indonesia can get ready, because the prestigious supermoto racing event, Superchallenge Supermoto Race 2024 National Championship Series is certain to start soon.
A total of five series in five different cities has been prepared by Superchallenge for Indonesian supermoto enthusiasts this year. The inaugural series will start in Yogyakarta, to be precise, the Mandala Krida Stadium Parking Circuit, on April 26-27 2024.
Superchallenge representative Mario Putra said, reflecting on last year's success, the 2024 Superchallenge Supermoto Race National Championship Series event was rolled out again to ensure the sustainability of the competitive platform for riders, activists and the supermoto community which continues to grow rapidly in Indonesia.

"With the launch of the 2024 Superchallenge Supermoto Race, we are trying to meet the enthusiasm of many parties, especially racers and the supermoto community, who want the consistency of a competitive, prestigious and entertaining supermoto championship. "Because of that, in this year's Superchallenge Supermoto Race, there was a lot of effort and improvement that we made to meet the quality aspects of the competition and event organization," said Mario Putra.
Mario explained, this year there are a total of five series spread across Central Java, West Java and East Java. It is hoped that the choice of city to host this event will reach more riders and participating communities.
Setelah Yogyakarta di seri perdana (26-27 April), Superchallenge Supermoto Race 2024 akan lanjut ke Tasikmalaya (17-18 Mei), Surabaya (14-15 Juni), Subang (19-20 Juli), dan seri pamungkas di Boyolali (30-31 Agustus).

Demi memenuhi harapan para pebalap dan pegiat supermoto, total akan ada tujuh kelas yang diperlombakan tahun ini. Terdiri dari kategori Kelas Utama (Kejurnas) dan kategori Kelas Pendukung. Kelas Utama terdiri dari Kelas FFA 250, Kelas Trail 180 Open, dan Kelas Trail 180 Junior. Sementara untuk Kelas Pendukung yaitu Kelas FFA 450, Kelas FFA 450 Master, Kelas Trail 180 Rookie, serta Kelas Trail 180 Master.
